According to the doctor, breakfast should help the child not to feel hungry throughout the day, give energy for the functioning of the brain and vision, and also strengthen the protective function of the body. For this reason, the first meal should include eggs, which include lecithin, which activates brain activity. The nutritionist noted that poached egg with sesame seeds and avocado is an excellent breakfast, since the fruit contains vegetable fats and the seeds have calcium, which promotes growth.
Porridge is considered an essential part of the first meal. It contains complex carbohydrates. Buckwheat with nuts is ideal. To get the maximum benefit from breakfast, add carrots and butter to the porridge, which contain vitamin A, which strengthens vision. According to the doctor, the positive effects of sweets on the brain is a myth. Desserts contain simple carbohydrates that can be quickly absorbed and provide a large amount of energy, which is why the student is very active and is not able to process and assimilate information. The expert advises against giving preference to breakfast muesli, cereals and sandwiches, and it is better for teenagers to refuse dairy products.
