Frozen dumplings are one of the most popular products due to their ease of preparation. There is a very large selection on store shelves, but not all semi-finished products are of high quality. “When choosing dumplings, you need to pay attention to the presence of meat as a filling. And it's not even about which one, it just has to be. In semi-finished products, you can find soy meat or mechanical deboning. There may be meat production waste with bone pieces, from which a homogeneous minced meat is made. This is the same protein, but of low quality. Often such dumplings are of minimal cost and are poorly absorbed by the human body, ”said the nutritionist.
It is impossible to make a quality product cheap, but when choosing it, the main thing is to focus not only on the price. It is necessary to give preference to well-known manufacturers with a good reputation and carefully study the composition. “Dumplings are fast food. It cannot be dietary and very useful, but there is also a fairly edible product. Its cost is quite high. The composition of the dumplings should be as natural as possible: it contains only meat and dough. The latter consists of flour, water and salt. Sometimes they can add pepper, ”concluded Solomatina.
