OSLO (Reuters) – Norwegian oil companies are planning to cut their oil and gas production by 22%, or 900,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, in the event of workers' strike next week, the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association (NOG) said Friday.
About 324 of the 7,300 offshore workers are planning to go on strike from September 30 if annual wage negotiations with employers fail, Safe, Industri Energi and Lederne unions said Wednesday.
