North Korean Ambassador to Moscow Sin Hong-chul said that North Korea will support “all measures of the leadership of the Russian Federation” in Ukraine. He announced this at an event at the  embassy of the DPRK, reports TASS.

We will support all the measures taken by the government of Russia in in  ;connections with events in Ukraine", — he said.

In his opinion, Russia “gives a forced tough response to the West” and "is making great strides in the matter of ensuring its security".

Earlier it was reported that Russia was not going to limit cooperation between North Korea and"DPR", said the director of the department of international organizations Russian Foreign Ministry  ;Peter Ilyichev.

According to him, the interaction of the parties does not violate the UN Security sanctions against the DPRK, including the issue of hiring North Korean workers for restoration of the "DPR".

< p> As the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out, the UN Security Council sanctions against the DPRK affect only member countries of the organization, and the “DPR” while it is not. Therefore, from Ilyichev's point of view, all issues of cooperation between Donetsk and Pyongyang lie in the plane of relations between the two “independent states”.
