On Sunday, August 11, while the French were curiously awaiting the Closing Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, videographer Norman Thavaud spoke out after two years of absence and returned to the dark accusations he has been the subject of since 2018. Naturally, the video was not to everyone's taste, and sparked very negative reactions on social networks.

Norman: the discord video

Following accusations of rape and corruption of minors, which led him to spend 36 hours in police custody and to be deprived of YouTube monetization until further notice, videographer Norman Thavaud has walled himself up in silence. A silence that he broke this Sunday, August 11, with a video, in which he returns to the accusations against him and evokes his difficult daily life surrounded by his family, which he describes as made up of, among other things, cyberbullying and suicidal thoughts. Considering himself “innocent” since the case was closed without further action by the Paris Prosecutor's Office and promising to pursue anyone who defames him or harasses his family, the videographer has clearly not met with unanimous approval, as evidenced by the reactions below.

No Norman, it's not because it's closed without further action that you're innocent..
