The half-millionth Leaf electric car rolled off the main assembly line of the assembly plant in Sunderland. This model was approved for release in 2010, with the car occupying the EV segment and intended for the mass market. This vehicle is designed for trips in the city, the basic package includes an onboard charging module with a capacity of 3.6 kW, compatible with conventional and high-speed charging systems. The car is equipped with advanced technologies that increase the safety of the driver and passengers. The interior is characterized by high comfort, thanks to the low bonnet line and large windshield, the car owner has better control over what is happening on the road.
There is a ProPilot system that provides the car with the ability to move in the selected lane. Further called the Pedal module, which provides the ability to technically use only one pedal. In Russia, the Nissan Leaf electric car is not officially sold.
