Actress Nicki Aycox, known for her role as Meg Masters in the series “Supernatural” and “Cold case”, he died at the age of 47. At the moment the reasons for her death have not been made public, but the interpreter had been diagnosed with leukemia more than a year ago.

The news was confirmed on Facebook by Susan Raab Ceklosky, the actress's sister-in-law. “My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side. Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was without a doubt a fighter and loved by everyone who knew her,” she wrote.

Although her relatives did not share the reason for her death, in March 2021 Aycox was diagnosed with leukemia.

“Hello everyone! I can't believe my last 3 months. But, it makes sense now. I got really sick thinking I had COVID in January and February. Well things came to a head,” she wrote on Instagram. “I ended up in a hospital, diagnosed with leukemia.”

At that time, the actress assured that she would do everything to be well. “I will come back better, stronger and wiser!” she said.

“I want everyone to know that I am doing amazingly well and am working my way through chemotherapy,” she continued. “I'll update with a better photo of me and talk about staying positive through the worst of times. Take care everyone.”

Born in Oklahoma on May 20, 1975, Aycox made her acting debut in 1996 with a character on the sitcom “An explosive girl”. Over the next few years, she became a regular on American television with appearances on some of the most successful series of the time, such as “Ally McBeal”, “ The X-Files”, “C.S.I.”, Law & Order” and “Criminal Minds”.
