One of the searches carried out by the Mossos d'Esquadra this Monday was carried out at the offices of Nicestream, the company with the that FC Barcelona hired a series of monitoring services on social networks, in addition to other more obscure jobs. For example, defame or discredit people around the Barça club who they considered opposed to former president Josep Maria Bartomeu and his top management. This is stated by the agents in the car to which EL PAÍS has had access : “Among the indications intervened in the offices of Nicestream (I3 Ventures), an email was found to prepare a meeting, in which a list of partisan journalists was made and contrary to Mr. Bartomeu. ”
More information Carlos Ibáñez, from 'hacking' for Correa in Ecuador to help Bartomeu Barcelona has hired a company that defames third parties to improve Bartomeu's image.
This email is shown. And in it appear a series of lists. The first, a list on the Board of Directors, in which Bartomeu himself appears, as well as the names of other directors such as Jordi Cardoner, Jordi Mestre, Enrique Tombas or Jordi Calsamiglia; also that of the former vice president and spokesperson for the Bartomeu board, Manel Arroyo. Next to his name there is an observation: “opponent”. Arroyo resigned in 2017.
Below is the “list of journalists pro and against Barto”. All names are accompanied by comments to discredit them. In addition, the Mossos say, it is evident that it is a particular interest of Bartomeu, who wants to draw up a black list of journalists
On the list appears, first of all, the name of Víctor Font, who is not a journalist, but a businessman (and now a candidate for the presidency), although, they point out in that email “he owns a medium; if you are the owner of a medium, you clearly have conflicting interests ”. They also indicate that "he does not know about football." I3 Ventures dedicated a special report to Font to discredit him.
The second name on that black list is that of Jaume Roures, to whom Nicestream dedicated an entire Facebook page with defamatory messages: Jaume, a horror film . And they point out: "Roures participated in all the club's corruption processes", in addition to giving indications for possible defamatory messages: "lowering the tone to the independence issue."
The black list is completed by Josep Maria Minguella – "representative agency of footballers, zero credibility, he is a commissioner ”-; Gerard Romero, RAC1 journalist; Xavier Sala i Marti, former economic vice president; Albert Roura, former communication director of the club; Jordi Costa, a journalist for Catalunya Ràdio, who they point out is “independent”; Maria Elena Fort, former director of the Joan Laporta board; Antoni Bassas, from the newspaper Ara –they indicate: “a woman who was fired by Barto–; Xavi Torres, journalist for TV3; Frederic Porta, journalist Ràdio de Reus and Diari de Tarragona; and Oriol Domènech, player representation agency. To the list, the author of the email, a worker from I3 Ventures, adds Pedro García, Club de la Mitjanit (Catalunya Ràdio program) and Joan Laporta.
