New numbers will soon appear on Ukrainian cars

Ukrainian drivers will be able to get updated license plates, which will have already been approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As evidenced by the order published by the relevant department, according to the document, there will be new designations on car signs issued online and through the Diya mobile application.

So, the first two letters denoting the region will replace the following: “ED”, “DC” and "DI", "PD".

"ED", "DC" – will be provided to those vehicles that have registered the system of the Unified State Register of the Unified Information System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs through the electronic driver's office.

"DI", "PD" – through the Unified State Portal of e-services, including using the “Diya” application.
