New appointment at the Ministry of Education and Culture: it became known who will head the directorate of school education

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine appointed a new head of the directorate of school education. The post was taken by Ihor Hvorostyany – teacher and expert on general secondary education. Minister Oksen Lisovii reports this.

"Many educational NGOs and Ukrainian teachers are already familiar with Igor, because for the past four years he headed the language component of the Finnish project to support the reform of the National Academy of Sciences “Learning together”. , which was aimed at the professional development of teachers, the popularization of education and the development of the educational environment”, – it says in the message.

It is reported that the new head worked as a teacher, deputy for scientific and methodological work at the Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, and was also the head of the high school of the NVK “Novopechersk School”.< /p>

Hvorostyany co-authored state education standards, textbooks, manuals and online courses on the Ukrainian language and literature.

In the Ministry of Games, he will work on the formation and improvement of state policy, strategic planning, coordination of all key partners and stakeholders of the field.
