Netanyahu gave Trump a gold and a regular pager, presumably hinting at an operation against Hezbollah – media

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave US President Donald Trump a gold and a regular pager during a meeting. Channel 12 reported this on February 5.

After receiving the pagers, the head of the White House said that “it was a wonderful operation,” presumably referring to the operation to disrupt the communications of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah in September 2024.

It is noted that Trump gave Netanyahu a gift in return, presenting a joint photo with the inscription: “To Bibi, the great leader.”

The media assumed that the meeting was generally successful, as evidenced by the statements and mutual gestures of both leaders.

Also, citing its own sources, the channel reported that the US president allegedly expressed outrage over Netanyahu having to testify in the corruption case he is accused of.

“To drag the prime minister into court hearings three times a week when he is waging a war that is changing the Middle East is absurd,” – Trump said, as quoted by Channel 12.
