Netanyahu defends Musk: "Elon is a great friend of Israel"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his social media page X stood up for Elon Musk – the richest person in the world, who owns Tesla and SpaceX, as well as the social network X.

The reason for Netanyahu's comment was accusations against Musk by those who consider his gesture during the inauguration ceremony of US President Donald Trump to be a Nazi salute.

Netanyahu's comment, published in English, said: “Elon – a great friend of Israel. He visited Israel after the massacre of October 7, in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Since then, he has repeatedly and decided that Israel must defend itself from genocidal terrorists and regimes that seek to destroy the only Jewish state.

Earlier, Musk himself commented on the claims against him: “Change the repertoire of mean jokes. The ability to see Hitler in everything is sooooo boring.”

Mask's speech at the rally was accompanied by active gestures. He thanked those present for making Trump's victory possible, “I'm with you with all my heart!” as a Nazi greeting.
