Bam Adebayo had the best game of his career on Saturday night in Brooklyn, but the Nets finally won 128-124 over the Miami Heat.
With 41 points, the American hub became only the second player in Heat history to reach this plateau in a game before the age of 24. Dwyane Wade is the other to have achieved the feat.
Despite Adebayo having scored a third of the Florida team’s points, it was rather the Nets who won. The Heat had even made a comeback by scoring 42 points in the fourth quarter, against 32 for the home team.
James Harden was rather quiet with 12 points, but Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving took the torch with 31 and 28 points respectively.
These two clubs will meet again on Monday, still at the Barclays Center.
