Navalny's widow announced plans to run for president of the Russian Federation

Alexei Navalny's widow Yulia said that she is ready to run for president on condition that she returns to Russia, the BBC Russian Service writes.

In an interview with the publication, she replied that she is ready to run for president on condition that she returns to Russia.

“My goal is to bring about and make possible changes in the country. If I return to Russia, I will run for president,” Navalnaya said.

However, she also added that as long as Russian dictator Vladimir Putin remains in power, returning to the Russian Federation is “unfortunately impossible.” A criminal case has now been opened against Navalnaya in Russia on “charges of participating in an extremist organization.”

In an interview, Navalnaya points out that she is “not a magician and does not know the secret” of how to immediately achieve change in Russia.

“If you can't do something big right away, do something small every day, and the more people do this, the sooner the time will come “changes,” she says.

BAGNET recalls that earlier in Russia, a court arrested in absentia at the request of the investigation Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who died in prison. She is accused of participating in an extremist community.
