NASA hires deaf people to help study weightlessness

Eleven deaf people have been hired by NASA to help study weightlessness. It is reported by Cracked. Deaf people were hired as they are immune to motion sickness. Loss of orientation in space and nausea are manifested due to the work of the inner ear. At NASA, people are put into special simulators to find out how the human body reacts to conditions in zero gravity. Test subjects who do not have hearing problems begin to get motion sickness. Therefore, we had to hire those who suffer from deafness.
