Experts tested various Android and iOS devices to find the models that last the longest without recharging with continuous active use . Test conditions included setting the display brightness to 150 nits and the frame rate to “auto''; (if such an option is available) and permanent connection to 5G.

According to according to their rating, ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro can work the longest without recharging – 18 hours and 48 minutes. Moreover, it takes 50 minutes to fully charge the phone. A 65 W charger is included.

In second place was the sub-flagship OnePlus 12R, which lasted 18 hours and 42 minutes. Fast charging of 80 W will fill the battery to 100% in half an hour.

The new iPhone 16 Pro Max rounds out the top three. It turned off after 18 hours and 6 minutes. Asus Zenfone 11 and OnePlus 12 discharged a little earlier.

In general, the phones with the highest battery life include both $1,000 flagships and inexpensive Android devices, such as the Moto G Stylus 5G or Nothing Phone (2a). But all of them have in common that they are able to "stretch" 14 hours of continuous active use.
