A man was killed and another seriously injured on the night of March 21 to 22, 2024 at the O'Gascon bar in Terrebonne.

A 25-year-old man from Laval was arrested in connection with the murder which was committed last Friday in a strip bar in Terrebonne, in Lanaudière, the Sûreté du Québec announced Monday morning.
The suspect must appear in court during the day on Monday at the Laval courthouse, so the charges against him have not yet been filed. For the moment, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) limits itself to saying that the suspect was involved in the altercation with the victim.
In a press release, the provincial police force specified that the man was arrested Sunday around noon and that he was then met by investigators.
The charge(s) will be determined according to the analysis of the elements submitted to the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP), added the SQ.
The murder occurred around 2:30 a.m. last Friday near the O'Gascon Gentlemen Club, a licensed establishment located on Chemin Gascon in Terrebonne.
