MUR created the educational award named after Pavlo Tychyna for teachers

The MUR project established the educational award named after Pavlo Tychyna. It is announced before Teacher's Day, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of October.

The award was created to find teachers who will change the approach of the Ukrainian education system. And also to encourage creative teaching and sharing of experiences. The Village writes about it.

The educational prize will have five categories: science, music, literature, history, fine arts.

Pavlo Tychyna personally selected experienced teachers from Stalin's camps During his tenure as Minister of Education, the number of Ukrainian schools increased from 12,802 to 30,512. By appointing him, we want to continue this tradition,– comments the author of the MUR Oleksandr Khomenko.

Selection for the award will take place in several stages:

  1. Application submission: required create a one-minute video about a historical fact from your field and write an essay. Educators have one week to submit their application.
  2. Shortlist:20 participants will be selected from among the applicants and will be invited to a closed meeting with the MUR team and experts. Before this meeting, the participants have to prepare a lecture for 20 minutes in an arbitrary format.
  3. Grand final: ten teachers will be selected to take part in an open event at Chernivtsi University.

    Lectures will be evaluated by a jury based on criteria such as: creativity, truthfulness and ease of presentation of the material. The authors of three lectures will receive cash prizes: for first place – 250,000 hryvnias, second – 150,000 hryvnias, third – 100,000 hryvnias.

    In addition to the prize, a fund will also be opened to cover the costs of organizing events. The prize fund will be financed by Ukrainian businesses.

    The MUR Project released an album-musical about the writers of the Shot Renaissance “You [Romantic]” on February 29. The album consists of 18 different tracks. All of them are connected by the plot and smoothly transition from one to another.
