Multinational NATO exercises will be held in Romania

< p>In the period from August 14 to 18, Romania  will host multinational NATO exercises. The Ministry of National Defense of Romania reports this.

More than 60 pieces of equipment will be involved in the training.

About 250 French and Luxembourg soldiers and 65 pieces of equipment from the NATO Battle Group in Romania will take part in the DEPLOYEX exercises at the Babadag training ground.

The purpose of the NATO military exercises, according to the ministry, is to practice the rapid deployment of troops and means of the Battle Group.

Also, these exercises contribute to increasing the level of operational interoperability of forces within the NATO Battle Group, being a continuation of the training previously held in Chinka.
