More than 70 million Americans voted early in the presidential election, according to data from the University of Florida's Electoral Processes Laboratory. The number of registered voters in the United States is about 168 million people.
The early voting data was provided by the University of Florida as of 22:06 on November 1 local time (5:06 Kyiv time on November 2). According to them, 70,053,286 US residents voted early. More than 37.4 million of them cast their ballots at polling stations, and more than 32.6 million by mail.

The presidential elections will be held in the US on November 5. Donald Trump has been registered as the Republican candidate, and Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate. Pre-election polls by various agencies and media outlets show a minimal difference in the number of votes for the candidates. In a Wall Street Journal poll on October 24, Trump beat Harris with 47% of the vote to 45%.
