Over 2.5 billion rubles will be received by 36 regions of Russia to support large families. The corresponding order was signed by the government of the Russian Federation.
“The government has redistributed subsidies to the regions to support large families, providing them with monthly payments for their third or subsequent children. The corresponding order has been signed,” said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
He said that 36 constituent entities of the Russian Federation will additionally receive over 2.5 billion rubles for these purposes. “Taking these funds into account, more than 50 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget to co-finance such expenditures this year,” the prime minister said.
Mishustin also said that a decree was signed on the redistribution of subsidies to the regions for the creation of additional places in kindergartens. “Namely, to create additional places for the smallest children – from one and a half to three years. Over 700 million rubles will receive the Republic of Bashkortostan, Krasnoyarsk and Stavropol Territories, Chelyabinsk Region,” – said the head of government.
About a thousand new places should appear at the expense of these funds.
