The Ministry of Defense of Moldova has signed a contract for the purchase of a new radar that will improve the monitoring of the country's airspace.
This is reported by “European Truth” with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova.
The purchase is carried out with the financial support of the European Union within the framework of the “European Peace Fund” program.
Director General of the Estonian Executive Agency Magnus-Valdemar Saar and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the National Army Moldovan Sergei Chirimpei signed a contract for the purchase of a radar, which will be delivered to the National Army of Moldova.
Defence Minister Anatoliy Nosatiy expressed his gratitude to EU partners who, thanks to their constant assistance, contribute to the achievement of national goals for strengthening defense capabilities.
