On Wednesday, August 3, Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatyi said that Russia's plans do not include an invasion of Moldova. He said this in an interview with Agora, Podrobnosti reports.
"Russian forces are fighting in the south-east of Ukraine, at a distance that ensures our stability. Despite the fact that Russian missile explosions are sometimes heard in the southern region of the country, and this is very worries, now there is no immediate danger of possible aggression or military actions on the territory of Moldova”, – Nosatiy said.
"Due to official channels from several sources, we know that the Russian military plans do not include the territory of Moldova", – he added.< /p>
It is known that the Prime Minister of Moldova, Natalia Gavrilitsa, said that the threat of the spread of hostilities to Moldova still exists. The advance of hostilities in the direction of Odessa is of particular concern to the Moldovan authorities.
