Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke about plans to reduce the number of civil servants by 10%. The head of government noted the inadmissibility of further postponement of this reform.
Mishustin pointed out the importance of high-quality and quick adjustment of the entire system of public administration in accordance with the instructions of the head of state. Thus, he proposes to start optimizing the administrative system as early as January 1.
Reduction of staff in federal departments and regional offices can be carried out before April 1. The reduction in the number of civil servants is tentatively estimated at 5-10%. This includes vacant posts.
