The changes will affect the tinting of vehicles. Experts suggest reducing the light transmission rate for the windshield by up to 70 percent. In addition, it is planned to allow the use of a portable emergency stop sign, a car fire extinguisher and a first aid kit without reference to a specific GOST. Also, the edits will affect the traffic rules for self-balancing unicycle, gyro scooters, electric scooters, skateboards, electric skateboards, segways, roller skates and other similar means. Children under the age of 7 will only be able to use them when accompanied by their parents and exclusively on footpaths or sidewalks.
From the age of 14, it will be possible to ride without adults in the same areas. After reaching the age of majority, they will be able to use the bike lanes, and in their absence, drive to the side of the road, but provided that the vehicle is equipped with a flashlight, reflectors and brakes. It will be prohibited to use vehicles of this type while intoxicated. In addition, the draft amendments will affect the rules of passenger transportation and other points. The package is currently undergoing routine procedures. There is no information yet when it will be considered.
