Mikhail Murashko, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, called the situation with the coronavirus in the country manageable. The most difficult situation is in Moscow, the minister noted.

According to Mikhail Murashko, the number of places in hospitals and the training of medical personnel allow providing assistance to all citizens who need it. The minister stressed that in order to avoid a serious second wave of covid, it is worth adhering to the mask regime, keeping a distance and treating your hands. The head of the Ministry of Health does not advise Russians to test the strength of the state system and their health, because then they will again have to introduce strict quarantine. As for Moscow, the minister said that the capital, as always, is the first to take the biggest blow.
Murashko also commented on the vaccine that many Russians want to do. Large-scale vaccinations are scheduled for late October – early November.
According to the latest data, as of October 5, almost 11 thousand infected covid-19 were detected in the Russian Federation per day. For the entire time of the pandemic, a little more than 980 thousand Russians have recovered.
