The superyacht of Steve Jobs' widow Powell was involved in an accident on the water – the vessel crashed into a Mexican billionaire's ship. The cost of both vessels is $120 million, so the incident can be called expensive, Fakty.com.ua reports.

Jobs' widow's superyacht crashed into the billionaire's ship

Thus, the yacht of Jobs's beloved is called Venus, and the ship of billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego received the beautiful name Lady Moura.

It is noteworthy that both vessels were allegedly at anchor, and the incident itself occurred on July 22 in Italy.

Only crew members were on Jobs' yacht, without the family of the late Apple executive.

A video of the moment of the collision of the two expensive vessels also appeared online.

An insider said that the collision occurred due to a sharp change in wind strength. The source also said that neither yacht dropped anchor, and the Lady Moura had been anchored with a chain that was too long, which caused the ship to shift.

— Both captains discussed the need for minor repairs immediately after the incident, the insider claims.

The 78-meter yacht Venus was custom-made for Steve Jobs based on a design by Philippe Starck. However, after the businessman's death, the vessel went to his widow.

The Lady Moura is 104 meters long, and it previously belonged to a businessman from Saudi Arabia and cost $200 million, and was then bought by a Mexican billionaire.

However, some negative events can still be prevented – for example, Taylor Swift's concert was canceled due to a possible attack on the event. Police detained two suspects who could have carried out a terrorist act.
