Always further, always higher, always stronger? Perhaps in “Fort Boyard” but not in all situations. Two Frenchmen, aged 18 and 20 and from the Lyon region, were arrested Friday morning by police in Milan, Italy.
Around 6:10 a.m., they were seen by municipal officials as they climbed the spire of the Duomo, the Lombard capital’s iconic 108.5m-tall cathedral. The police then gave the alert and “positioned themselves around the cathedral,” Marco Granelli, Security Manager of the municipality of Milan, on its social networks. He added: “Once they got down they were taken down. arrested and identified: they are French.
According to Italian media, these two young people are part of a group that climbs monuments all over Europe.
