The next-gen Xbox Series X game console, which has not revealed its main secret about price and availability since its announcement in late 2019, has finally received an official release date and price tag. A lot of rumors and opinions from experts pointed to different prices: from 399 to 599 dollars. Today Microsoft announced the price tag of the flagship console – 499 dollars (about 14 thousand hryvnia), which is the “golden mean” for this type of device.

Microsoft yesterday revealed a scaled down and cheaper version of the Xbox Series S game console, which received a scandalously low price tag of $ 299. Both consoles will go on sale on November 10, 2020, i.e. almost exactly two months later.

In an announcement message, Microsoft called the Xbox Series X “the most powerful console in the world.” Moreover, for buyers of countries where both game consoles will be officially sold, pre-orders will start on September 22.

The set-top box can also be purchased under the Xbox All-Access program – a more attractive analogue of the installment plan. American gamers who take advantage of this offer will have to pay $ 34.99 for console and subscription services for 24 months (2 years).

Alas, Ukraine is not included in the list of countries where Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass and Live services, will be officially presented, unlike Sony's PlayStation 5.
