Microsoft has simplified the process of switching from the Windows 10 operating system to Windows 11

Microsoft has made it easier to check the compatibility of devices with Windows 11, reports Neowin. We tell you the details.

What happened

Microsoft has simplified the process of checking the compatibility of Windows 11 for users by updating the instructions on its site.

Now users can easily check the compatibility of their devices with the new OS using the PC Health Check application or through the Windows Update settings. It is important that your computer meets the minimum hardware requirements and is running the latest version of Windows 10.

To check if your computer can be upgraded to Windows 11, use these options:

  • Download and run the PC Health Check program.
  • Go to Settings: «Update & Security», then click «Check for updates».
  • Use the Windows Update shortcut and click «Check for updates».

Why this is interesting

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, LG and Samsung announced new smart TVs with integrated AI assistant Microsoft Copilot.

LG added a special section for AI technologies and an updated remote control, now called AI Remote. The company said that Copilot will help users find complex information, taking into account the context of the requests. Samsung, for its part, introduced new TVs with the Vision AI function, which encompasses several AI capabilities.
