Bad news that came three years after he underwent triple bypass surgery. This time, the famous animator went through the operation box for a heart intervention. A hard ordeal that he is not about to forget. “I feel like a ghost, a survivor“, he confided on the airwaves of RTL. It’s therefore after a long absence that the innkeeper of the PAF wanted to speak.

His confidences did not, however, completely reassure his audience. “I spent months between resuscitation, intensive care and rehabilitation. I didn’t flinch, but when I found out that my vital prognosis was twice,I was panicked for my family.“, he reported. Before adding, to BFMTV: “I did not go far from the disaster “. If the ordeal was particularly difficult, another element did not help to soften it either during the period of hospitalization. Indeed, the husband of Dany Saval was completely “cut off from the world“. His phone was confiscated by medical personnel. The reason is very specific: to prevent him from performing his duties. This workaholic had every reason to distance himself from his profession during his convalescence.

If the choice may seem radical, it was nevertheless necessary in order to force the presenter to rest. “I was not allowed to have very long visits because it's tiring, (…) they had cut off my cell phone”, he confided . It was therefore only very recently that Michel Drucker became aware of the many messages of support sent to his telephone number. Among the personalities to have written to him are notably Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron. The octogenarian was also released from hospital a few days ago. He must soon begin his rehabilitation, during which he must recover “nine kilos of muscle“. The good news for viewers? He indicated that he would be back on the air next September “for a new season of Vivement Dimanche”. Michel Drucker also said that he would be part of the France Télévisions team to cover the Olympic Games in Paris, in 2024.
