Michał Wiśniewski was hoping that his legal problems would end soon. However, that will not happen.

Michał Wiśniewski disappointed. He hoped that "his problems would end"

As the „Super Express” portal reminds, Michał Wiśniewski is facing legal problems. At the end of October 2023, the musician was sentenced to unconditional imprisonment, where he was to spend 1.5 years. The court also imposed a fine of PLN 80,000 for defrauding SKOK Wołomin of PLN 2.8 million. The leader of Ich Troje appealed. Another verdict was issued.

Wiśniewski pleads not guilty

Michał Wiśniewski consistently assures that he did not commit the acts he was accused of and does not agree with the verdict that was handed down in October 2023. The Ich Troje vocalist was sentenced to 1.5 years of unconditional imprisonment. In a moving post after the verdict, he emphasized that he did not commit a crime.

„But I will endure prison time with dignity, if necessary, because serving time for innocence is a bit like persecution. They wanted to give SKOK Wołomin and the entire scandal a face, so they did. My name is Michał Wiśniewski and I am innocent. And what, after the scandal? I don't think so” – he wrote at the time.

The leader of Ich Troje decided to appeal the verdict, which he did not agree with. The appeal hearing was scheduled for February 11. However, the court informed that it will not take place on the scheduled date, which Michał Wiśniewski certainly cannot be happy about.

Michał Wiśniewski admits „that's not there is good news”

Michał Wiśniewski does not hide the fact that the postponement of the trial date is not good news for him, because it prolongs the whole case. In an interview with the „Onet” service, the musician admitted that he had hoped that „his problems would already be over”. He added that he had waited so long, so he will wait some more.

In his opinion, the whole case is only about „chasing the little rabbit, not catching him”. „Nobody is talking about who really organized all this, or who stole the money” – he added.

The reason for the adjournment is quite prosaic. The reason is the presentation of a sick leave by the judge.
