Messi and Ronaldo are not in the top 100 most expensive football players in the world

The CIES Football Observatory research group has published its version of the ranking of the most expensive football players on the planet. Forward "PSG" did not get into the top 100 Lionel Messi and Al-Nasr forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

The rating is headed by the midfielder of the England national team and Borussia Dortmund Jude Bellingham, whose transfer fee is estimated at   €208.2m with a price tag of   €200.5 million. Vice-world champion in France  team Kylian Mbappé closes the top three, his cost is    191.7 million. Vinicius ("Real") ;, €190.5m) and Erling Holland (€174.9m, Manchester City).

Messi and Ronaldo, who previously topped such lists for years, are now beyond the 100. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the transfer value of the Argentina national team leader is now  50 million, and the Portuguese football player —  20 ​​million. It is difficult to judge how accurate these estimates are, since Canada Jonathan David, who closes the top 100 in the CIES rating, costs  49.4 million — however, he is on this list, and Messi is not.

Earlier media reported that “Manchester United” sells products with Ronaldo's image at reduced prices.

President of Barcelona Joan Laporta on air Cadena Ser spoke about the departure of club legend Lionel Messi  "Paris Saint-Germain".
