Earlier, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class was turned into a luxury minivan, and now the automaker has introduced a competitor to the Tesla Model S – the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 is capable of driving 660 kilometers on a single charge. This writes a specialized edition of motor1.com.
The sedan was shown in a rear-wheel drive modification of the EQE 350 with a single electric motor of 215 kilowatts (292 hp) and 530 Nm. According to preliminary data, it will be able to reach speeds of up to 97 km/h in 5.6 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 209 km/h.
The EQE 350 is equipped with a 90.6 kilowatt-hour battery. The battery pack accepts a current with a power not exceeding 170 kilowatts. Thus, at a 110-kilowatt station, it will be charged from 10 to 80% in 31 minutes. A full charge should be enough for 660 kilometers.
