Member of the Kyiv Region Bar Council suspected of leaking information from the state register of court decisions

Law enforcement officers have exposed a current attorney of the Kyiv Region Bar Council who illegally received information from the Unified State Register of Court Decisions and passed it on to his clients.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.

It was established that without the judge's knowledge, the defendant entered the Unified State Register of Court Decisions under her login and password.

In The lawyer received complete information about court decisions, in particular those concerning his clients, and transmitted this information via messengers. In this way, he warned his clients, in particular, about planned investigative actions against fraudulent call centers.

By his actions, the defendant allowed information to leak from the register and disclosed information from the pre-trial investigation.

The lawyer was charged under Part 5 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – unauthorized interference with the operation of electronic computers (computers), automated systems, computer networks or telecommunications networks. He faces up to 15 years in prison.

The suspect was served with a petition for the selection of a preventive measure in the form of detention.
