At this time the ship is off Zeeland, Denmark's largest island. Next to him is a ship of the Danish navy. From the data of the MarineTraffic resource, which allows you to track the movement of ships, you can see that in recent days the Chinese ship has been accompanied, nearby or at some distance, by at least four ships of the Danish Navy, which does not seem like a coincidence. Danish forces officially confirmed the presence of a navy vessel near Yi Peng 3, adding that they could not yet provide more information.

The ship belongs to Ningbo Yipeng Shipping Co. Ltd, registered in the Chinese city of the same name. Chinese records show that the company is owned by two Chinese nationals. Yle tried to get comment from the owners, but they did not return emails and calls. There is little public information about them.

Yi Peng 3 was built in 2001 in South Korea, and has been owned by the aforementioned Chinese firm since 2016. The company owns two more cargo ships, Yi Peng and Yi Peng 5.

Recall that Finland and Sweden have decided to create a joint investigation team to investigate the cable incident.

The defense ministers of Finland and Germany believe , which is about sabotage.
