Billionaire Elon Musk has held private discussions with allies about removing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer from his post before the next election.
This is stated in the Financial Times publication, which is quoted by Reuters, reports “European Truth”.
Musk, the richest person in the world and a close ally of US President-elect Donald Trump, last month supported a German far-right party ahead of the elections scheduled for February and has repeatedly commented on British politics, demanding Starmer's resignation.
Musk was weighing how he and his allies could destabilize the Labour government and was seeking information on how to enlist the support of alternative British political movements to force a change of government, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
Musk did not respond to Reuters' request for comment after business hours.
“He believes that Western civilization itself is under threat,” – FT quotes one of the interlocutors.
Musk has previously accused Starmer of failing to bring to justice gangs of men who raped young girls when Starmer was the chief prosecutor from 2008 to 2013.
Musk recently launched an online poll on whether the US should “liberate the people of Britain from tyranny”.
This post was a new attack by Musk after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the spread of lies and fakes, hinting at Musk.
