McDonald’s pulls cult burgers out of oblivion – customers celebrate: “That’s what I’ve been training for all year!”
Five-Guys-Burger or Big Mac – The ultimate burger comparison
The burger chain Five Guys in the Ruhr area has been up and running since Monday. At the opening, we started the ultimate burger comparison. Which tastes better: McDonalds or the fast food newcomer.
It’s an enigmatic post on the Facebook page of McDonald’s.
Because: Apparently the fast food giant is bringing back a popular promotional product. The announcement worries many customers of McDonald’s currently for enormous anticipation.

McDonald’s: Puzzling announcement on Facebook
But not all customers immediately realize that McDonald’s is actually announcing a burger comeback here. McDonald’s only posts a photo of a 42-week-old Instagram comment in which a customer writes: “I would like to have the 1955 burger 1,955 times”.

McDonald’s doesn’t provide much more information on this. So it is understandable that some users consider the contribution to be just an insignificant PR contribution to smile about.
This is the “1955 Burger”:
1955 special sauce
But in fact, McDonald’s hereby announces that the “1955 Burger” has been available again in all branches since the weekend.

To be on the safe side, some users ask again in the comments whether the burger is actually back. And our editorial team preferred to have this confirmed by McDonald’s: “Starting today, we are again offering our 1955 burger in all participating restaurants for a certain period of time.”

He’s back again. That’s what I’ve trained for all year!
But other users prefer to use the platform to express numerous of their own burger requests, which McDonald’s should bring back to the range. Will the team actually rummage through all of the 600 or so comments when planning the next campaign?
