Mazda, KIA, Skoda: the most popular gasoline cars in August

Ukrainians continue to prefer cars equipped with gasoline internal combustion engines. In August 2024, 3,300 new cars were added to the country's car fleet.

This statistic is 35% more than last year. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

At the same time, the share of gasoline cars in the total sales of new passenger cars decreased. If in August 2023 they covered 43% of the new car market, now it is 41%.

The leader of the market of new gasoline cars last month was the crossover MAZDA CX5.

TOP-5 models of passenger cars with gasoline DVZ:

  • MAZDA CX5 – 275 units;
  • KIA Sportage – 216 units;
  • SKODA Octavia – 187 units;
  • < li>HYUNDAI Tucson – 167 units;

  • RENAULT Duster – 166 units

Among imported used cars, gasoline cars also hold the lead. Almost 46% of the used cars that were transferred to Ukrainian license plates in August were gasoline (over 11.8 thousand units). Their average age was 9.7 years.

  • VOLKSWAGEN Golf – 735 units;
  • AUDI Q5 – 577 units. ;
  • VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan – 486 units;
  • NISSAN Rogue – 471 units;
  • AUDI A4 – 433 units
