In Izium, Kharkiv region, liberated from the Russians, the bodies will be exhumed for about two more weeks. This was told by the mayor of the city Valery Marchenko. "Employees of all services carry out exhumation, dig up the buried. If possible, they are identified, everyone is sent to Kharkov for further work. This work will be carried out for almost another two weeks, because there are a lot of burials. So far, no new ones have been found, but they say that there are such people, so they are looking for them, ”he said. According to Marchenko, out of 45,000 local residents, up to 15,000 people now remain in the city. Gradually, the locals began to return. “Everyone will not return, many have nowhere to live – bombed out, broken apartments, houses. Winter ahead. Light will appear in the city in a maximum of two weeks. Works on gasification are currently underway. There is a problem with high-rise buildings for gasification – all the networks there are broken, it is impossible to repair them in such a short time. In a month there will be 25-30 thousand people in Izyum,” the mayor added.
