Producer Nate Moore, who notably worked on; on the recent Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, made recent statements about a character who is expected to gain prominence in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This heroine, featured in the latest Marvel Studios movie, could even become the new Nick Fury.
Black Panther – Wakanda Forever: Already a success
Nate Moore is already a success; in the MCU for many years. A recurring producer for Marvel Studios, he has notably worked on; on Captain America: Civil War and the recent Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Realized by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever chronicles the adventures of Shuri, T'Challa's little sister, who must accept her responsibilities and become the new Black Panther. Worn by Letitia Wright, the film also serves as a tribute to the late; Chadwick Boseman, the interpreter of T'Challa, died on August 28, 2020. Unsurprisingly, the thirtieth MCU film is already here. a huge box office success with more than 552 million dollars in revenue in just two weeks of operation.
The next Nick Fury ?
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever highlights or highlights certain secondary characters. Ryan Coogler thus puts, for the first time, on stage Ironheartwhich will soon have its own series; or the powerful Prince of the Seas and incidentally the villain of the story: a certain Namor. The film also brings back to the fore Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) and Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus ), two characters who will gain in importance within the MCU.
Nate Moore on ScreenRant. The producer clarified; that the idea of seeing Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever came from Ryan Coogler himself. He then compared; the Countess to a certain Nick Fury, thus affirming the importance of his role in coming to the MCU:
It's not the last time you'll see Valentina. I now think, clearly, that she and Ross could end up in different places in the MCU. The detail of their past relationship was something that Ryan thought would be really fun and interesting to hear about. explore. I hope we can build other things on it. But with Valentina, much like Nick Fury in Phase 1, we're slowly building the story of a woman who may have her finger in more pies than you think. And we'll just see if it's good or bad for the MCU.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever marks Julia Louis-Dreyfus”s third appearance in the MCU. After her short appearances in Black Widow and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, here she is again in a role minor which actually looks like Nick Fury's involvement in the past. Like Samuel L. Jackson's character, Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is at the head of a powerful American intelligence agency. Like Nick Fury she deals the cards in the shadows and seems to have a long arm. Like the former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, he is a character who should not be underestimated and who has a very important control over the entire MCU.
Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine should gain prominence in the future. She will be particularly at the Thunderbolts initiative. Like Nick Fury with the Avengers, she will bring together a band of more or less dangerous anti-heroes to do the work rooms of the American government (yes like the Suicide Squad at DC Comics). We will therefore find Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine at; the head of the Thunderbolts. The film, directed; by Jake Schreier, is due out July 24, 2024. In the meantime, Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine can always make short appearances here and there, at the hotel. the Nick Fury way.
