Marvel: Disney changes its schedule, here are the new release dates

Last week, we talked to you about of these Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films which would potentially be in the drawers of Marvel Studios. And even more recently, it was Disney which gave news of the famous superhero franchise after updating updates its entire release schedule for the coming years, thus revealing new mysterious projects.

New Marvel films planned for the years to come come

While the MCU seemed to be in decline for some time, the cinematographic universe developed in a timely manner. by Marvel Studios is determined à take your head out of the water and regain the success of yesteryear. A resurgence of interest that seems to be off to a good start this year, thanks to the release of the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine which, just after its release, had already broken these impressive records.

But if the success of the third installment of the Deadpool saga seems to bode well for the strong return of Marvel superheroes, Other highly anticipated projects could also allow the franchise to continue on this path. We will think in particular of the film The Fantastic Four, whose official title we were recently able to discover at the San Diego Comic-Con 2024, or even the big return of Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU.

And while the future of the MCU finally seems to be brightening again, Disney recently updated its release schedule, announcing several upcoming Marvel movies that are still very much a mystery. Notable changes include two new feature films set to hit theaters in 2027, in addition to Avengers: Secret Wars. But it's not all additions, as a film that was originally scheduled for release in July 2026 is no longer on the list. Here's a look at the new MCU schedule following these changes:

  • Captain America: Brave New World— February 12, 2025
  • Thunderbolts* — April 30, 2025
  • The Fantastic Four: First Steps — July 23, 2025
  • Blade: November 5, 2025
  • Untitled Marvel movie — February 13, 2026
  • Avengers: Doomsday — April 29, 2026
  • Untitled Marvel movie — November 6, 2026
  • Avengers: Secret Wars — May 5, 2027
  • Untitled Marvel movie — July 21, 2027
  • Untitled Marvel movie — November 3, 2027
