The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown to an indecent size in over a decade of existence. And it's not always obvious to viewers in what sequence to watch Marvel movies and TV shows. To date, there are nearly three dozen films and more TV shows, so viewing the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in chronological order is a task with an asterisk. ProShoKino decided to make this task easier for our readers and took the liberty of creating a guide to watching movies and TV shows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So, there are two options for viewing all content: chronological order and according to releases. Let's stop, perhaps, on the chronology in the order of release of films and series. Fasten your seat belts and set off on an exciting journey through the Marvel Universe with us!

Note that in our list we have included only those films and series that relate to the MCU. So no Venom or Morbius. Some shorts have been omitted as less significant.

Phase Four:

 

Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

After the events of the first season of Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange continues to study the Time Stone. He accidentally utters a forbidden spell and now humanity is in danger. Even the combined powers of Strange, Wong and Wanda Maximoff won't help.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

After Mysterio revealed Spider-Man's identity, Peter Parker's Terrible Life. To fix the situation, he turns to Stephen Strange for help, but things only get worse.

Hawkeye (2021)

The show will take place immediately after the end of the final Avengers. Hawkeye wants to take a well-deserved rest, but before that, he must raise a worthy replacement for himself. He trains young Kate Bishop and teaches her how to be a superhero without superpowers, relying only on her accuracy, wit and skills.

The Eternals (2021)

The Eternals are a group of superhumans sent to Earth many thousands of years ago to protect it from terrible deviant monsters. All deviants have long been destroyed, but after a strange earthquake, a new monster is suddenly announced. Now the Eternals will have to gather again to face a new threat.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)

WandaVision (2021)

Newlyweds Wanda Maximoff and Vision live in the idyllic town of Westview. The lives of the characters seem perfect, but they really aren't.

Spiderman : Far From Home (2019)

The movie takes place 8 months after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019).

The survivors of Thanos' Snap, the Avengers, must devise a new plan to save the universe. No matter what, they must try, at all costs.

Captain Marvel (2019)

Air Force pilot Carol Danvers, after encountering aliens, gains super strength and becomes invulnerable. Now the heroine is ready to fight against the most powerful enemies.

Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

Events take place about 2 years after the events of the Confrontation, almost before the events Infinity Wars, overlapping a little with them. And the last scene after the credits connects these events.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Totally unique movie, biggest crossover in movie history and climax all three phases of the cinematic universe. The action takes place in the spring of 2018.

Black Panther (2018)

A new hero after the events of Captain America: Civil War and here we are in 2016.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

The film explains why the Hulk and Thor were not in the Confrontation. Events unfold in 2017.

Superhumans (2017)

A story about superhumans that were previously introduced to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. . Here comes 2017.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Events take place after the Confrontation, in the fall of 2016. Be sure to wait for the 2nd post-credits scene.

Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2 (2017)

Continuation of the wanderings of the Guardians team. Set in 2014.

Doctor Strange (2016)

New Super Hero , and with it a new side of the universe – magic. Actions take place from spring 2016 to winter 2017.

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

After the Age of Ultron, the government wants to take control of the Avengers, which leads them to split. We also meet Spider-Man and Black Panther. The action takes place in the spring of 2016. Watch between episodes 19 and 20 of the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Second phase:

 

Ant-Man (2015)

We continue to get acquainted with new superheroes. The action takes place in July 2015. Watch after the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

The Avengers are once again gathering to help the world. Events take place in the spring of 2015. We also get acquainted with the character Scarlet Witch and Vision. Watch between episodes 19 and 20 of the second season of Agents of SHIELD

Daredevil (2015)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe once again pleases its large audience with the creation of a new superhero Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) . In order to add some spice to the personality of the protagonist, it was decided to make him blind. After losing his sight, Matt Murdock's other senses sharpen and help him protect the people of his neighborhood by day as a lawyer and by night as a masked superhero.

By the way, Daredevil is trying to atone for his and her sins in Marvel's new #1 reboot.

Agent Carter (2015 )

The action of the film takes viewers back to 1946, when the American authorities accuse Howard Stark (Tony's father) of illegally selling weapons to enemies of the state. It is Peggy who tries to clear his good name. Recommended after Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Episode 10

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) )

Here we are introduced to the Guardians of the Galaxy team, and it takes place in 2014. The film set a new pace for storytelling, after which this style began to be applied to other projects. Watch after the finale of the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

Events take place in the spring of 2014, Steve Rogers joins the ranks of SHIELD agents. along with Black Widow. Watch between episodes 16 and 17 of the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Thor 2: The Dark World (2013)

The events in the film also take place after the Avengers in the fall of 2013. Watch between 7 and 8 episodes of the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)

Thor (2011)

Thor's actions also take place in parallel with the Hulk and Iron Man 2 in 2011. Here we get to know Thor and Loki, as well as learn about the cosmic side of the MCU. ⠀

Iron Man 2 (2010)

Here, too, we are talking about 2011 and the action takes place in parallel with the Incredible Hulk. And this is where the Black Widow character first appears. ⠀⠀

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

This is a standalone movie and is not a sequel to the 2003 Hulk. Actions in it date back to 2011. The movie turned out just the way it is. but he made it clear that these two heroes exist in the same universe, mentioning the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.

Iron Man (2008)

It was from this film that Marvel began to acquaint us with the MCU at our own peril and risk. But the colossal success of the tape laid the foundation and general tone for all subsequent film adaptations. The film takes place in 2010. ⠀
