Advice to Defenders fans, this member of the team is arriving in the MCU

But in what form, that remains to be seen! The Defenders, the popularized Marvel superhero teamto the general public thanks to the various series broadcast by Netflix in the 2010s, have not said their last word. Composed of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, it was reunited on the small screen after each of its members had the right to their solo program. Although the team found itself unemployed after barely a single season, it is nonetheless very much appreciated by the spectators. It's no surprise, then, that the vigilantes who make it up are each reintroduced in turn in the MCU, The Defenders being canon within this universe. Thus, during D23, it is the return of Iron Fist which has just been confirmed!

However, this is not the live-action version that you knew. According to our colleagues at ComicBook, who were in charge of hosting the Marvel Animation roundtable at D23, the team supervised by Brad Winderbaum revealed the first look at Black Panther: Eyes of Wakanda. And there, surprise: the directors announced the arrival of the martial arts specialist in this new animated series of four highly anticipated episodes. On the other hand, we do not yet know if the version of the character that will appear in the series will be that of Finn Jones, or a different version from the comics. In any case, it is good news for all fans of the iron fist!
