Marry me online: more than 400,000 proposals were made in three days

The “Diya” application recently launched an online marriage service. It is in great demand among Ukrainians and has even become the hero of many memes.

The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the first results of the service in Telegram.

In the first 24 hours of the service “Shlyub online” in the application “Diya” outside the beta test, Ukrainians booked marriage dates two months in advance – 1247 couples applied for marriage.

And the offer in “Diya” without exaggeration became the trend of the week, – wrote the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, according to the results of the service outside the beta test, users made 416.13 thousand offers in three days. At the same time, 49,282 thousand positive responses were received. Mykhailo Fedorov added that the proposal in “Diya” still became a trend of the week and published several memes on this topic.

1247 couples submitted marriage applications to “Diya”. Since the launch of the service “Marriage Online” in the beta version, 197 couples have become spouses.

Digitalization not only simplifies life, but also helps create families, Fedorov said.

Earlier it was reported that marriage, divorce and name change certificates appeared in the “Diya” service. Also, after the beta test, “Online Marriage” was launched in “Diya”.
