Marriage online: Ukrainians will be able to get engaged via video call in “Diya”

From now on, Ukrainians will be able to get married via video link in the Diya application. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the relevant resolution.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Read in the article of Radio Maxim about how the marriage will take place online.

To register a marriage, you need to send an application in the application, then an employee of DRATS will conduct the marriage ceremony via video link. After that, the bride and groom sign the deed of marriage using “Deed.Signature”.

Now Ukrainians will get married simply in the application. This is especially important for couples who cannot be together because of the war, the message says.

We would like to remind you that in February 2023, Diya launched the possibility to submit an application for marriage registration online.
