Marathoner Stewart and the relay team of quarter runners will compete at the World Athletics Championships
|Budapest – At the World Athletics Championships in Budapest today, one of the eight final disciplines will be the women's marathon, in which the Czech representative Moira Stewart will appear at the start. She will set out on the 42,195-meter long track together with 77 other endurance women at 7:00 a.m. She will start at the championship thanks to a wild card from the Czech Athletics Association. In the afternoon block of the penultimate day of the competition, the relay team of quarter-runners will try to break through the heats among the eight finalists.

Today, the decathlon culminates in the Hungarian capital, and the pole vault final with the phenomenal Armand Duplantis from Sweden is also on the program. The world champions will be decided in the women's shot put, the men's eight, the women's 5000 meters and the sprint relays.
