A resident of Luhansk region photographed and filmed military facilities in the Dnipro. The man acted on the orders of Internet curators from the Russian Federation, who promised him a monetary reward.
This is stated in the verdict, which the Novomoskovsk City District Court of the Dnipropetrovsk region adopted on December 9.
According to the court materials, the defendant agreed to cooperate with the Russian special services for a small reward. He captured a military hospital, a military educational institution, and checkpoints on photo and video, after which he sent this data to the customer. During the repeated photo shoot in September 2022, the offender was detained.
The court found the accused guilty of disseminating information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations for selfish motives (parts two and three of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The man must spend ten years behind bars for what he has done. He is currently in custody, but has the right to file an appeal within 30 days from the date of the verdict to challenge the court decision.
