American singer Madonna expressed her support for Ukrainian children suffering from the war. She reminded about the Global Peace Summit, which will be held on June 15 in Switzerland.

In her Instagram, the star called on world leaders to pay attention to the fate of children who became victims of conflicts. Madonna also accompanied the post with a text that mentions, in particular, Ukraine.

Madonna called to protect children

Where there is conflict, children suffer… Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Yemen, Syria, Nigeria, Congo, Malawi… The list goes on. We may disagree on many things, but I pray that we can all agree that our children need to be protected!

The singer showed a video with Ukrainian children hiding in shelters during shelling, and a bus with the symbols of the so-called “DPR” that takes children to the occupied territories. Madonna emphasized that on June 15, at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, leaders will discuss ending the war in Ukraine and the return of more than 19,000 Ukrainian children deported to Russia.

She called to join her in supporting children around the world by adding emojis in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

How Madonna has supported Ukraine since 2022

Madonna became one of the first world celebrities who immediately expressed support for Ukraine after the start of a full-scale war. She posted an edited clip where she called Putin a liar, compared him to Hitler and supported the Ukrainians.

She also shared videos of destroyed houses in Ukraine due to Russian shelling.

Putin continues senseless and terrible attacks on Ukraine!! Wounded innocent people die every day! Innocent people are fighting for their lives. And they learn to shoot to protect themselves. Refugees are overflowing the borders, and they are not allowed to escape. So many brave people remain to fight…

We are grateful to Madonna for her help and support. Now it is extremely important to keep talking about Ukraine. And her post is an example that other stars should follow.
