MacBook Air with M4 to be released before new iPhone SE and basic iPad

iPhone SE (2025) and 11th generation iPad are expected in spring 2025. New MacBook Air may be released in January–February.

Mark Gurman, a reputable insider from Bloomberg, wrote that his October insider is still relevant — MacBook Air with M4 chip will be released before the new iPhone SE, iPad and iPad Air.

«As I wrote in October, the new entry-level iPads (J481 and J482) will be released in the spring. iPhone SE, new iPad Air follow the same schedule. M4 MacBook Air will be released before», — writes Gurman.

Thus, the MacBook Air update will most likely follow the same principle by which Apple updated the iPad mini, iMac, Mac mini and MacBook Pro in late 2024 online via Apple Newsroom.

Judging by Gurman's words, the MacBook Air update to M4 will take place in January–February 2025.
